Volunteers: the heartbeat of the Cathedral

At the very heart of Cathedral life is a dedicated army of over 450 volunteers. Our volunteers undertake a wide variety of roles, all of which are vital to the smooth running of the Cathedral’s daily life.

We value and make good use of people who come to us with all kinds of different backgrounds, age-groups, skills and interests.

'Volunteering is a way to join a community of like minded people.  It enables you to make new friends of all ages and to find interests and enhance knowledge of which you may be unaware.' AM - Cathedral Volunteer
