Drawing for Wellbeing

Drawing for Wellbeing

Thursday’s 10.30am - 12noon

Starting 5 November - 10 December

This 6 week free online course is aimed at beginner level learners and will be led by community artist and tutor Jo Teague.

  • Do you doodle lots but not sure how to move onto drawing?
  • Do you want to improve your drawing?

As part of our Art for Wellbeing #CreativeCathedral programme, this course takes you through a series of structured steps to build up your confidence in drawing. Each week will begin with some fun drawing games and activities followed by a structured drawing session that will take you step by step through creating a drawing. The sessions will give you a chance to draw, to learn with others and time to relax. All the activities will help support your wellbeing and you can repeat them easily on your own.

Led by community artist and tutor Jo Teague, aimed at beginner level learners

Jo Teague has been teaching arts and crafts to a wide variety of local communities for the last 10 years, she creates and runs workshops that build skills and foundations in drawing that will grow your confidence in your own creative ability.
