Make Your Own Peg Doll

Thursday 28 October, 11.00am – 1.00pm and 1.30pm – 3.00pm

Drop-in craft activity in the Chapter House.

Children of all ages can a have a go at decorating your own peg doll. Inspired by ‘Displaced Child’ a sculpture by Natasha Houseago currently on display in the Lady Chapel. The artwork depicts ‘Little Amal’ a refugee girl carrying a wooden backpack decorated with peg dolls, each one representing one of the 33 million displaced children around the world who have no voice.

This activity is free of charge. Entry to the Cathedral is by voluntary donation. No booking required.
