Pioneer of vaccination Dr Edward Jenner is both a global hero in the world of science and health but also a local acclaimed polymath. From Berkeley Gloucestershire Edward Jenner saved countless lives through his work developing the successful smallpox vaccine. Gloucester Cathedral is home to a well-known statue of Dr Jenner honouring him and his work.

This workshop explores the colourful world of science as art – drawing inspiration from digital images of the smallpox virus, participants can have a go at creating their own amazing science art.
