Family Art Week

Gloucester Cathedral Launches Family Art  Week

Following the success of the Cathedral’s ‘Art for Wellbeing Week’, a new, free digital resource pack providing seven days of family-based activities is now available on the Cathedral website

We have created seven daily art activities that are perfect for children and families to do at home. Since we can’t currently run our family learning sessions at the Cathedral we thought we’d bring the fun to you!  All the resources are free to download and each daily art activity is inspired by the Cathedral, from the stained glass to stone gargoyles!

Inspired by the coronation at Gloucester Cathedral of boy-king Henry III, the first activity involves designing regal headgear. It can be downloaded here along with the other six activities.

To keep up to date on the Cathedral’s engagement and social responsibility work follow us on Twitter @EngageGlosCathedral. Don't forget to share your own artwork using #creativecathedral.
