The Midnight Storytellers: Nightshade’s Tales of Tooth and Claw

The Midnight Storytellers: Nightshade’s Tales of Tooth and Claw

Saturday 7 July, 11.00am, 12.30pm, 2.00pm, 3.30pm
Best for age 7-12+, everyone welcome

From sea monsters to walking trees, from a giant frog to a leftover Tyrannosaurus, Nightshade the Unwise Woman of the Woods tells thrilling stories from around the world.

Nightshade wears tatters and broken jewels, and she can be a bit scary – just like the stories. But courage, quick thinking and kindness always win and all the right people live happily ever after. Every show at Wordfest features different stories: a fabulous world tour of folktale, myth and legend.

Behind the rags and bling is Chloë of the Midnight Storytellers, whose high energy giggle-filled performances have enchanted audiences of all ages throughout the UK and beyond for nearly 20 years.

No need to book, just turn up!
