Silent film and organ improvisation – King of Kings

Sunday 25 March 6.30pm - 9.00pm

Jonathan Hope – organ

As part of our programme of services and events for Holy Week, Jonathan Hope improvises live to Cecil B. DeMille’s 1927 silent masterpiece King of Kings. Particularly poignant on Palm Sunday, the film retells in epic style the Easter story, starring H. B. Warner as Christ and Dorothy Cumming as Mary, Mother of Jesus.

Tickets: adults £10, under 16s free, available from the Cathedral Gift Shop, 01452 768928 or click here to buy now
