The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace – Karl Jenkins

The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace – Karl Jenkins

Saturday 10 November 6.00pm - 7.00pm

Gloucester Choral Society
Conductor: Adrian Partington

To coincide with the Cathedral’s commemoration of the end of the First World War, Gloucester Choral Society with live orchestra will stage Karl Jenkins’ Ármed Man, of the most-performed works of our time. The work will be accompanied by a specially created film, to be shown on a large screen in the nave. The film was designed to enhance Jenkins’ haunting score through thought-provoking visual poignancy. The programme will also include works by Bruckner, Fauré, Tallis and Rutter.

Tickets £12/£5 (students and under 18s) available  from the Cathedral Gift Shop, 01452 768928
