The Medieval Monks of Gloucester: how they lived, worked and worshipped

8 March 2013 10:15 to 15:15

Learn about the way of life of the Benedictine monks of St Peter's Abbey, and enjoy lunch in the historic Parliament Suite.
Normally organised on behalf of Groups and Societies, we have opened up this one-day study tour to the wider community.

This an opportunity to uncover the lives of the Benedictine monks of Gloucester, by studying the Cathedral and the monastic buildings that surround it, with their history and purpose brought to life. Led by Cathedral Guides you will visit parts of the Cathedral not normally seen by visitors.
