Gloucester Cathedral Council – Community Election Results

During March an election was held for the Cathedral Community to elect three members to Gloucester Cathedral Council.

Six members of the Cathedral Community were nominated. Every member of the Cathedral Community was sent the candidates’ biographies and a voting paper.

Voting closed at on Monday 20 March 2017; 96 voting papers were received and the votes cast were:

51 - Darran Brook

38 - Hugh Goodwin

44 - Annabel Hayter

72 - Barbara Merrick

37 - Andrew (Drew) Montague

37 - Gordon Owen

Therefore Barbara Merrick, Darran Brook and Annabel Hayter have been duly elected to the Cathedral Council for a term of three years. Congratulations to the new members.

The first meeting of the newly formed Cathedral Council takes place Tuesday 4 April.
